Introduction

Sawdust dryer is designed on the basis of its unique features such as higher initial moisture, smaller proportion and more liquidity changes during the drying process. Sawdust dryer has compact structure, small footprint and other technical advantages. It can be divided into two categories: airflow sawdust dryer and rotary sawdust dryer. Rotary sawdust dryer refers to a machine which adds powder-like wet sawdust continuously into the drying tube. Then the moisture of the wet material is evaporated to become the powdery or granular shape during the transport and dispersion process of the hot gas stream. Sawdust drying machine mainly consists of air heater, feeder, air drying tube, cyclones, fans and other components.

Features of Rotary Sawdust Dryer

1. High drying strength. Because the material highly disperses in the gas stream, so the entire active surface of the particles is the effective drying areas.

2. Short drying time.

3. It has simple structure, small footprint and it is easy to build and repair.

4. Large capacity and high thermal efficiency. When drying unbound water, its thermal efficiency is up to 60 %.
