Raymond mill, also known as raymond grinding mill, raymond roller mill and raymond grinder, is suitable for grinding non-flammable and non-explosive materials whose Moh’s hardness is below 9.3 and humidity less than 6% such as barite, calcite, potassium feldspar, talc, marble, limestone, dolomite, fluorite and lime, activated clay, activated carbon, bentonite, kaolin, cement, phosphate rock, gypsum, glass and thermal insulation material in mine, metallurgy, chemistry and building industry.
After being grinded by the Raymond Mill, the powder fineness can be 30-325 mesh (or 0.613mm-0.044mm), some very fine powder can be up to 1000mesh (or 0.013mm). The powder size can be controlled continuously by adjusting the powder classifier of the raymond mill.
1. The whole machine is a vertical structure, so it occupies small area. From crushing of raw material to grinding and packing, it is an independent production system.
2. Compared with other milling plants, its passing ratio achieves 99%, this is what other mill can not reach.
3. Transmission device of main frame adopts airtight gearbox and pulley, which drives smoothly and operates reliably.
4. Main parts of the whole plant are made from cast and steel of high quality. The techniques is so subtly that ensures the durability of whole plant.
5. The electric control system is centralized controlled, so the automaticity is high.
When Raymond mill works, the materials that need to be crushed are fed into the machine through the feeding hopper. The grinding roll that hangs on the main engine will rotate around the vertical axis and rotates around itself. Due to the centrifugal force produced in the rotating process, the grinding roll will swings outward and tightly press onto the grinding ring to make the relieving tool scoop up the materials and send them to the space between the grinding roll and the grinding ring, and the materials will be crushed due to the rolling and grinding of the grinding roll.
